The Simón Bolívar International Airport is known locally as Santa Marta Airport. The airport is located 14 kilometres south of Santa Marta, the capital of the Magdalena Department, 18 kilometres north of the municipality of Ciénaga in Colombia. The airport serves domestic flights services only.
This airport, as the other ones we have done already, is a Freeware and is compatible with Prepar3D v3 and v4. It features up-to-date airport terminal and buildings, SODE Jetways with GSX Level 2 (or static jetways), a custom ground poly and dynamic apron lights (P3Dv4). Furthermore, due to its immediate proximity to a 5.700m-high mountain range, it offers a wide range of interesting flights: from a calm VFR Flight from SKRH, SKBQ (PKSIM), SKCG (PKSIM) and SKVP along the coast or over the mountains, to some longer IFR legs from SKBO (Virtualcol), SKRG (PKSIM), SKCL (PKSIM), MPTO or KMIA, including interesting RNP Approaches to both runways 01 and 19.
